Karla - April '11 Gilda has been home from the 14-day residential training for 2 full days. I cannot tell you how much the training helped her, but most of all, it helped my husband and me! Although we have always had dogs in our lives, Jon's help in understanding what makes our dogs tick and our important role in making sure we are fully engaged in their lives has given us oodles of confidence. The entire staff at The Kennel Club was friendly and provided great care and love while Gilda was away from us. I called (a lot!) for checkups and no one treated me as a bother. Instead, everyone seemed as interested in Gilda's progress as we were. When we visited on the 11th day, we saw how much fun Gilda was having and how much fun Jon was having; we were amazed at what was accomplished in less than 2 weeks. We are so proud of our puppy! Jon is one of a kind and has a real gift. He even had me wanting to sit and stay! We look forward to additional training for off leash and hope to bring all 3 Aussies to the daycare facility from time to time. Did I mention the beautiful and clean facilities? Money and time well-spent!

Lisa - Jan. '11 Thanks for the nice note regarding Rocket! He always looks really wonderful when he comes home. And it's so great for us to have him doing so well when he stays with you! We feel like from the beginning of us bringing Rocket home and Mark giving us encouragement and advice - cuz Rocket was a dog I brought home on impulse feeling so sorry for him, but he was only in pet store cages until maybe almost a year old - Kennel Club USA has been a great partner in us in helping him adapt to the world! His first days with us after the pet shop, he just shook and didn't walk around even the whole kitchen - and he didn't now how to do stairs or anything! So..thanks for your hard work and patience with him! He's such a sweetie, he's turned into a wonderful family pet, but I am sure you had to work with him on the blow-drying etc. ;) Hope to catch up with you on Rocket's next stay. Thanks again.

Susan - August '10 I am very pleased with the That's My Dog seminar you hosted this past weekend. David and I learned a lot. This morning when I woke up I called David to go our side. He came immediately and sat in front of me while I hooked on his leash. I started towards the door but David did not move. I had forgotten to give him the "Let's go" command. When he had finished I ask him to come. Once again he came and sat in front of me. This is pretty amazing considering he is only 5 months old, two days of training and I had not yet put on his remote collar. At the office the remote collar worked wonders. I only had to remind him only once not to jump on people. David was a real gentleman. He is big enough to seek and destroy anything on the book shelves and desk. The remote and "off" command made it clear to him not to touch. The collar has proved to me to be a valuable training tool. Thanks for this opportunity and the great lunches.
