Every dog presents unique challenges, so we take great care in selecting our Trainers. They have years of experience, and can train any breed. We use verbal commands, leash correction, hand signals, and, in programs that require it, electronic stimulation to achieve results. We know a well trained dog will be appreciated and loved, not only by its family, but also by neighbors and guests in your home. We do not train dogs to "break" their spirit. We train dogs to enrich their spirit. You can be confident our Trainers are qualified professionals that are fully certified.

Puppies need training and socialization. It is a mistake to leave a puppy home alone for hours at a time. For socialization, the best investment you can make is our Doggy Daycamp for puppies. Please visit this section of our website for details.
For training new puppies we offer a 3-Week Course that meets the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00pm - 7:00pm or a one-hour Private Lesson that you may schedule at your convenience. Please call us for reservations.
Private Lessons are also available for training Scent Detection, Tracking, Soft Mouth Retrieval and specific behavior concerns.
Residential Training:
When it comes time to seriously train your dog, Residence Obedience Training is the only way to go. We offer two courses to choose from depending on your goals. If you have more than one dog our Trainer will work them together. They will be taught to follow separate commands no matter what the other dog is doing. Unlike any other training facility, we have 60-110 dogs that pass through our lobby each day. Your dog will be trained to follow commands in the midst of real life distractions. We guarantee the results for the entire time you own your dog, provided you attend 3 group distraction classes within 6 weeks of the date your dog leaves our program. After completion of these requirements you are welcome to come back and schedule private refresher lessons any time as often as you like with no additional charge. If you do not attend the required 3 group distraction classes, private lesson fees will apply for all follow-ups.
ON LEASH OBEDIENCE (14 days)
$895 including room, board, hand made leather leash, Herm Sprenger choke collar, & private training 3-5 sessions per day
An all inclusive program where your dog resides with us for 14 days. Your dog will be taught the commands of Heel, Sit, Automatic Sit (when you stop walking), Stay, Down, & Come while on the leash. On the 10th, 12th and 14th days you come for an hour session where our Trainer starts turning over the ‘handling’ techniques to you.
ON/OFF LEASH OBEDIENCE (21 days)
$1495 including room, board, hand made leather leash, & private training 3-5 sessions per day
The ideal program for someone that wants to be able to take their dog to the park and let it run off leash, yet return upon command (regardless of its size). In this program we use electronic stimulation and require the purchase of a "Dogtra" electronic collar. The "E-Collar" is perhaps the most misunderstood training tool in existence. E-collars use "low-voltage" stimulation. They cannot hurt your dog. When mis-used they can create undesirable behavior. The Dogtra e-collar is state of the art and allows you the ability simply by turning a dial to adjust the stimulation from 0-127. This flexibility allows us to find the stimulation level "just right" for your dog. Electronic stimulation is not used to punish your dog when it makes a mistake. It is used to stimulate desired behavior. Your dog will be taught the commands of Heel, Sit, Automatic Sit (when you stop walking), Stay, Down, Come, Place, and Off, both On and Off Leash. On the 15th, 18th and 21st days you come for an hour session where our Trainer starts turning over the ‘handling’ techniques to you.
