Every individual dog is unique and presents a variety of challenges when it comes to Training. So, we take great care in selecting our Trainers. After all, they reflect the image you will have of our business. They must share and exhibit the values of Kennel Club USA. They train with positive reinforcement techniques. They love animals and dogs in particular. They have years of experience and can train any breed. They know that a well trained dog will be appreciated not only by its family but also by neighbors and guests that come to your home.
As the owners of Kennel Club USA we personally own and breed Golden Retrievers, Pointers, and Llewellin Setters. With our Golden Retrievers and Pointers we breed Champion show lines. The Llewellin Setters we breed for high level upland bird hunting. We know first hand that no two dogs are the same when it comes to Training needs. Yet, we expect each and every one of our dogs to have the same high level of Obedience skills. In our Canine Training Academy, you can be confident that the Trainers working with you and your dog are the best. We personally are very particular when it comes to our dogs as are you. Your dog will be trained by the same Trainers that train our personal dogs.
At Kennel Club USA Canine Training Academy we have group training courses, private lessons, and a Residence Program where your dog stays at our facility for two weeks and is fully trained at the end of the program. Group courses serve to teach you the owner the techniques needed to train your dog. The question becomes do you really want to, and do you have time to work with your dog, several short sessions a day for a few weeks. Private Lessons serve to provide you an opportunity to work with our Trainers on a specific behavior such as pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, etc. In addition, two private lessons provide ample time to learn everything you will be taught in a five week Group Course at a time scheduled to best meet your needs.
Without question, for 99% of dog owners the most effective way to train your dog is in our Residence Program.
