Kennel Club USA Pet Boarding Cancellation Policy

At Kennel Club USA, we recognize that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate such changes when possible. To manage our scheduling effectively and ensure we can accommodate all of our furry guests, we have established the following cancellation policy:

Deposit and Payment:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your reservation.
  • The remaining balance of 50% is due upon pickup of your pet.

Cancellation Notification:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the spot to another pet in need of our services.

Cancellation Terms:

Pet Boarding and Board & Train program:

  • More than 5 days before reservation: In the event of a cancellation more than 5 days prior to the start of your reservation, a credit to your account will be issued in the amount of your deposit, but no refund to your credit card will be issued. This credit can be used towards future boarding, grooming, or any other services offered at our facility and will be valid for one year from the date of the original booking.
  • Within 5 days of reservation: If you cancel within 5 days of your reservation, no refund or store credit will be given.

Grooming and Private Training Lessons:

  • More than 3 days before reservation: In the event of a cancellation more than 3 days prior to the start of your reservation, a credit to your account will be issued in the amount of your deposit, but no refund to your credit card will be issued. This credit can be used towards future boarding, grooming, or any other services offered at our facility and will be valid for one year from the date of the original booking.
  • Within 3 days of reservation: If you cancel within 3 days of your reservation, no refund or store credit will be given.

Early Pickup:

  • If you choose to pick up your pet early, you will still be responsible for paying the full amount of the reserved boarding period. However, the unused portion will be credited to your account for future use.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for any scheduled services during the reserved boarding period.

No-Show Policy:

  • Failure to show up for a reservation without notifying us will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and no store credit will be issued.
