Before dog boarding we suggest making a checklist for packing your boarding bag so no essentials are missed. We encourage dog owners to pack some key items for their pets to give them some reminders of home and help them mimic their normal daily routine while boarding with Kennel Club USA. Leashes, toys, blankets, treats, medication, and more can all be included. Nobody is required to pack any sentimental items, though in our experience it is helpful for dogs, especially when it comes time for them to sleep! Dog Medication
During your dog’s stay at Kennel Club USA their health and wellness is a priority for our staff. For no additional charge the staff can manage up to 3 medication doses during dog boarding. All you have to do is pack your dog’s medication and speak with our staff to provide them with instructions, and ensure there is enough of the medication for overnight stays and long-term boarding. If your dog has additional medical needs, speak to a staff member to learn more about what accommodations we can provide.
Special Dietary Food
We go to great lengths to ensure your dog’s stay at our boarding facility is relaxing and fun. We have regular feed times built into the schedule so after dogs have had playtime and social time your dog will eat their food. If your dog has any dietary restrictions or is on a special food diet we encourage you to bring food from home. We are able to serve your dog their special food during their boarding stay with Kennel Club USA.
Other Essentials for Your Dog
We encourage you to bring your dog’s favorite non-plush toys to provide a piece of home during their stay. Having items like blankets and toys can provide your pup with some comfort while boarding with us. These items aren’t required, but we find that anything from their normal routine helps them to stay calm and happy throughout their stay. We always aim to help in any way we can and make sure your dog’s stay is special each time.

When you drop off your dog it’s helpful to bring a collar and leash. Throughout the day we incorporate different playtime activities, and having a collar and leash are important to allow us to safely handle every dog in the facility. Dogs go on walks multiple times a day while staying at our boarding facility. We work hard to create a safe and inviting environment for every dog. Dog treats are also a helpful item to pack for your dog. Having special treats on hand is a great way to reward your dog for good behavior and help improve their mood at any point.
