First Time Boarding Your Dog?
We know boarding for the first time can be nerve-wracking. We hope to make the experience as easy, fun and worry-free as possible for both you and your dog. Our comprehensive dog care services in Columbus include training, dog boarding for extended stays, doggy day care for fun socializing and play, dog grooming, and drop-in visits for quick check-ins. If it’s your first time boarding your dog, we recommend you check out our FAQ section below. It can also be helpful to bring your dog in for a groom to get them familiar with the space and staff. Trial boarding for a day or dog daycamp can also be a great way to introduce your dog to boarding. While not always necessary, it’s a great way to test out how your pup handles dog boarding.

Our Facility Is An Animal Oasis
Whatever your dog boarding needs, Kennel Club USA is here to serve the Columbus, Ohio community. Our entire facility (10,000 sq.ft.) is sanitized and disinfected daily with veterinary-grade products used in animal surgical hospitals to kill bacteria and maintain a safe and sterile environment. Water and food bowls are changed and sanitized daily. Two separate kennels "wings", are divided into two separate rooms. There are four separate heating and air conditioning systems to minimize the spread of airborne viruses. After business hours, the gates entering our property are closed and the entire property is monitored and secured for fire and theft.
Your dog is walked in an oversized, grassy area a minimum of 3 times daily. We have two, covered patio areas that provide your pup with shelter from the elements when needed. At no extra charge, medications are given by trained staff. We encourage you to bring your own food as changing a dog's diet can sometimes cause digestive problems. However, we do provide premium-quality dog food, Orijen Original, for an additional fee. We allow dogs from the same family to board together, provided they are able to eat together without supervision. You are welcome to bring personal items such as toys, bedding, and food containers as long as they are permanently marked with your name and weigh no more than 25 lbs in total. Our daycare option offers swim playtime, a supervised swimming session in our outdoor pond led by our daycare supervisors and is available as a daycare add-on. If you add this activity to your dog's daycare schedule, rest assured you'll be picking up a happy dog, tired from all the fun at the end of the day. They will spend the rest of the evening sleeping on your couch. If you’d like to ensure your dog comes home fresh and clean post swim, we recommend checking out or grooming offerings!

Yes, as long as your dogs can be fed together! We want to ensure a safe environment for your pets to stay in, and take every step to prevent altercations or accidents!
At no extra charge, our staff can administer up to 3 medications and/or accommodate your pet’s special diet during their stay! Simply bring their medication or food and we will ensure they receive it!
We recommend bringing your pet’s favorite toy, no plush stuffed toys (max 3 toys per pup), blanket, treats, and food! Having familiar items from home and keeping their routine as similar as possible helps to alleviate stress and promote a positive experience. We want to make sure your pet’s stay is as comfortable and easy as possible. If there is anything we can do to help make you or your dog more at ease, please let us know! We are always happy to help.
We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your pet. Training your dog to feel comfortable with boarding will ultimately benefit you both. We offer various options to keep your pet active and engaged while in our care. Your pet can enjoy a day at our pond, play in our open yards, or come dog walking with us! If you’d like to treat your dog to a day at the spa while you’re away, we also offer excellent grooming services. Whatever you choose, we guarantee to make sure it’s a positive experience for our guests!
We require that all dogs are fully up to date on the following vaccines: Bordetella, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parvo and Rabies. Please ensure that your dog has had all of their necessary vaccinations prior to visiting with us. If you have any additional questions about required vaccinations, please contact us. We are always happy to answer any of your questions.
At our boarding resort, we take pride in the wellbeing of our guests. Pet care is our number one priority at all times. If a medical emergency occurs while your dog is boarding we will contact you right away! If we cannot reach you we will get in touch with your emergency contact. However, if we feel that there is a medical emergency that needs immediate attention a staff member will take your dog to the nearest pet hospital. We will always ensure that your dog receives the medical care they need, all of our staff has received training to handle emergency situations.
